Kevin Kenneth Konczal of San Diego is no stranger to the ill-effects that the economy and the southern California sun can have on the skin. This avid golfer, surfer, bicyclist and hiker had a skin cancer scare three years ago which required minor surgery; this scare became the catalyst for his idea and line of skin nutritional products.

Finding himself unemployed in June of 2010, Konczal used his savings and his government stimulus (unemployment benefits) to bring his idea of skin care nirvana to fruition. Tests show that after morning use, a level of SPF 12 is still present late into the day.  Of course, prolonged time in the sun, swimming, and excessive sweating will require reapplication of Pro-Star or a traditional sunscreen.
