The two day conference will focus on Iraq’s potential within the industry, presenting opportunities for companies to be involved in the development of oil and gas, and the best model of cooperation with international companies. This year’s agenda will cover the priorities for Iraq in the future; the dynamic world of oil and gas; its infrastructure, the gas and power development in Iraq including the private investment in crude oil refining; and the financial framework for energy investment.
An interactive workshop will follow from the main conference program, focusing on Iraq’s oil and gas business opportunities. It will provide business updates for investors and the investment structure in the industry. Furthermore the workshop will analyse the licenses of the 12 joint ventures in the region and the Kurdistan contracts in light of the draft of the new oil and gas law.
