Jan. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Boutique artist management company, MTS Management has become affiliated with two highly respected country music organizations, the Independent Country Music Association (ICMA) and the European Country Music Association (ECMA.)  It has also filed an application for membership with a third, the Academy of Country Music.  These affiliations come on the heels of the successful release of MTS client, country artist Bryan Cole's new single, "Love Doesn't Live Here" (Perfect Vision Records.)

"I figured it was about time that we got serious," says Michael Stover, owner of MTS Management.  "Honestly, I'm thrilled to be aligned with these organizations.  There is a certain amount of prestige that goes along with being a member.  But, more than that, I see it as an opportunity to put MTS on the map as THE independent artist management, publicity and promotions company.  I look forward to making an impact with all 3 associations."

The ICMA is an organization of independent country artists and music industry professionals who are dedicated to the promotion of artists who are without major label backing.  Founded in 2011, the ICMA will be holding it's first awards ceremony in the next few months.

The ECMA  was established in 1994 as the first organization formed in Europe to promote country music at a general level, covering all Europe, not just one of its nations or countries. It also provides proof of real airplay to Country Music industry through its weekly national and pan-European charts. Its national Top-20 covers weekly Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic, Swizertland, Malta, Poland and Austria.  ECMA membership is composed of those persons or organizations that are involved in Country Music throughout the world, having members in USA, Canada, UK, Australia and many European Countries. ECMA has over 150 stations and DJs reporting their playlists every week, and it's annual awards are voted on by ECMA members.

The ACM was founded in 1964 in Los Angeles, California as the Country & Western Music Academy.  It's initial purpose was to promote country artists primarily from the west.  Since it's inception, the ACM has become one of the most respected organizations in music, bringing together country artists from around the globe and raising funds for various charities.  It also holds an annual awards ceremony to recognize its members' accomplishments.
