School of Fundraising to provide two workshops in February
The Smart Dog School of Fundraising, an Arizona-based school for animal welfare professionals, is holding two workshops in Los Angeles on February 8 and 9. The nationally acclaimed school will offer a one-day workshop on direct mail fundraising on Wednesday, February 8, with a second workshop on volunteer management being offered on Thursday, February 9. Both workshops are being held in the Manhattan Beach Room of the Marriott Residence Inn LAX/Manhattan Beach located at 1700 N Sepulveda Boulevard, Manhattan Beach CA (90266).
The workshop on Wednesday, February 8 is titled, “Using Direct Mail to Fund Your Animal Shelter” while the workshop on Thursday, February 9 is titled, “How to Recruit, Train and Manage Your Volunteers”. Each workshop begins at 10 AM and ends at 4 PM. Workshop registration fee is $79 before January 23 ($99 after), which includes a fundraising workbook and a CD containing dozens of fundraising documents and campaign samples. The workshop is sponsored by Animal Shelter Fundraising and Mason Company.
