WSC Academy Selects Student of the Month for January 2012

Jan. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- The staff and administration of WSC Academy would like to announce that Cody Ford is our Student of the Month for January. “Cody was selected because he takes his coursework seriously and works diligently to complete his weekly goals,” says Kristen Winter, Instructor of Brighton WSC Academy.  Cody also takes the initiative to seek assistance when needed and has mastered many new skills. As a result, he is on track to receive his high school diploma by June 2012.

In the classroom, Cody frequently encourages other students to complete their work.  Cody exhibits natural leadership abilities and often assists his peers in making positive life choices. His excellent sense of humor contributes to a pleasant classroom environment and is appreciated by all of the students.  

WSC Academy congratulates Cody on his accomplishments and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
   
Founded in 2006, WSC Academy serves students who are seeking an alternative for education in a smaller, non-traditional, learning environment. WSC Academy is FREE and available to non-graduates, 16-19 years of age. Classes are in session Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  WSC offers students the opportunity to recover credits, prepare for the GED, or earn their high school diploma. Diplomas awarded by WSC Academy meet the Michigan Merit Curriculum requirements and are public school diplomas.
