PRLog -- Interfaith Friends is hosting the Sixth Annual Soup'er Saturday benefit on Saturday, February 4, 2012. It will be held from 11 am to 2 pm at Father Nallin Hall, Tunkhannock, PA. For a $10 donation, patrons may sample a variety of soups and home made breads from area restaurants. Everyone will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite soup and favorite bread. All of the proceeds are used for Interfaith's Fuel Assistance Program. Interfaith Friends Fuel Assistance Program assists low-incom families and individuals with the winter fuel costs. The following restaurants are participating:
The Fireplace, Season's Restaurant, Shadowbrook, Tioga Bistro, Marsha's Sugar Hollow Diner, Lake Road Cafe, and the Almont Hotel. We are anticipating several more restaurants will be joining us. You warm up with soup and we will keep families warm by helping with fuel costs. Tickets may be purchased at Interfaith Friends or at the door at the event. For more information, call Interfaith at 570-836-2428.
