Chicago’s George the salon Welcomes Seasoned Stylist Mercedes Parrilli

Jan. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Chicago, IL – To begin 2012 with a positive start, River North’s prestigious George the salon is proud to announce the addition of Mercedes Parrilli to the brand’s superior team of top hairstylists.

Mercedes will bring her impressive skills and training background to the salon transforming into a mentor and educator. Here, she will partner with owner George Gonzalez to grow his business while guiding his stylists and offering her insights and knowledge as a professional hairstylist for the past 22 years.

About Mercedes Parrilli: Working for Mario Tricoci and as a senior stylist and the director of education for the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon and Spa in Chicago, Mercedes has educated and mentored many of her colleagues with her professionalism and technical skills.  

Mercedes' work has been published in Chicago Magazine, a national ad campaign for Bakers Shoes as well as Process and Celebrity Hairstyles Magazines.  Publicly, she has appeared on B96 Radio Station, WGN and Telemundo.  In Chicago, Mercedes has had the pleasure of designing and directing numerous fashion shows as well as collaborating in different fashion shows throughout North America.  Over the years, Mercedes has been inspired through her travels to cities such as New York, Miami, Buenos Aires, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Rome and Madrid.
