Vino Solo will create a revolution in Wine Drinking

Vino Solo will be launched throughout Europe, Russia, North Africa and the Middle East from April. This integrated bottle and glass innovation is sure to take the market by storm.

Jan. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Inova Simple Inspiracion S.L., the Spanish FMCG company, has successfully negotiated an exclusive management agreement with Singlz Europe Limited allowing them to manage the launch and EU wide roll out of the aptly named Vino Solo brand. Vino Solo, the revolutionary integrated bottle and glass single serve wine concept will be available for launch throughout the EU from April 2012.

SInglz has also concluded contracts with their EU bottling partner, Les Grands Chais de France and Singlz will be bottled in LGCF’s state of the art facility in Landiras, France. The leading edge PET multi-wall technology used in the Singlz concept ensures that the wine quality is preserved for at least 12 months. Simon Robertson, Inova’s Business Development Director said “ This is the latest innovation in the wine industry since the Bag in Box and is perfect for today’s busy consumer. The single serve category is ready for a product like Vino Solo and has a proven track record in most convenience channels like retail, airplanes, trains and of course travel retail. The EU launch is attracting a lot of attention already and has some great opportunities like London 2012 and football’s European Cup. Vino Solo will be ready to launch throughout Europe in April”.

The New Zealand born product was originally contracted exclusively to Constellation who marketed the product as “Shuttles” under their Hardy’s brand. The recent expiration of the exclusivity agreement has meant that Singlz Europe can now expand its distribution footprint into Europe and use other country wines in the product. Initially the generic “Vino Solo” brand will use Spanish wines, Tempranillo, Verdejo and Bobal, but as the brands volumes develop, the intention is also to broaden its consumer appeal with other country wine inclusions. It is also the intent of Singlz Europe to offer its proposition for private label clients, which will appeal to many retail accounts that would also like to use their own wines.

The versatility and usability of this product will surely add to its winning formula.
