McKenzie Freed will represent Lodi in the 2012 Miss Teenage California Scholarship Pageant.The state pageant will be held April 20-22, 2012 at the Hilton @ Los Angeles Airport. McKenzie is 16 and a junior at Jim Elliott Christian School. McKenzie will compete with young women between 13-19 years of age at the 33rd Annual state pageant. Miss Teenage California 2012 will win a $10,000 College Scholarship, Represent the state at the Annual Miss High School America or Miss Collegiate America Pageant, depending on her educational status. She will also will an evening gown from Crown Diva of Santa Monica, $500 Cash, and $500 Wardrobe. The founr runners up will win college scholarships of $4,000, $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000 respectively.
Judging for Miss Teenage California consists of Activities and Achievements, Personality, and Poise & Appearance in Formal Attire. There is no swimsuit or talent competition.
