McBrien, a veteran of television and radio, has been involved in fantasy baseball for twenty years and began writing about fantasy baseball through a newsletter in the summer of 1993. After co-hosting the television program “Insult to Injury” from 1997-1999 and years of sports writing for several newspapers and radio stations, McBrien starting the “Dear Mr. Fantasy” blog in April 2011. This led to the launch of the companion podcast to fulfill a niche for both baseball and fantasy baseball fans alike.
“Baseball fans truly love the game and fantasy baseball is a means to get involved in that love for the game at an even deeper level”, states McBrien. “The passion that people show toward the game is incredible. Producing a podcast of this type is all about passion. I love baseball and I love what I do”.
