Jan. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- CARY, NC - As 2012 commences, Village Square at Amberly is bringing a renewed commitment to a stunning collection of  new custom crafted homes createdWith Research Triangle Park, NC-540, and RDU Airport as well as shopping, restaurants, schools, medical facilities, and entertainment/recreation venues within mere minutes, West Cary’s Village Square at Amberly offers an enviable address for exceptional new homes starting from the mid $300s to the upper $500s.

Amberly was initially developed by the same developer who brought Bedford at Falls River and Wakefield Plantation to the market. The community opened in 2006 with five distinct neighborhoods of active adult homes, brownstones, townhomes and single family homes on both low maintenance and traditional homesites. In 2007, a select group of respected, award-winning builders was invited to join Amberly as the builder team for the homes in Village Square. This group, known as the Amberly Builder Group, immediately became successful building and selling over 100 custom homes in their neighborhood. Unfortunately, as was the case for many large developments throughout the nation during the recession, the bank that was funding Amberly struggled and was taken over by the FDIC. This made it impossible for the developer to complete the community. In 2011, the FDIC partnered with IOTA Amberly, LLC based in California to plan and finish the community. Near the end of 2011, Pulte Homes bought from IOTA Amberly, LLC the remaining portions of the community.  Pulte has agreed to sell the available homesites in the custom home section of Village Square to the Amberly Builder Group.

“This is a win-win situation for everyone involved,” says Mike Golder, President of Barrington Homes.  “IOTA Amberly LLC has taken the financial responsibility for the completion of the community.  This is good for existing residents, future home owners, and the builders involved.  We’re very pleased to be here.”

“We’re excited to once again move forward with custom homes in one of the most amenity-rich communities in the Triangle,” adds Rick Barrett, President of CityScape Builders. “A lot of building activity is currently underway… We’re off to a busy 2012 with two sales within the last week.”

“I’m thrilled to be working for the custom builder team,” says Evelyn John, veteran New Home Sales Associate at Village Square for Fonville Morisey & Barefoot. “A mix of 10 Craftsman and traditionally styled homes are currently underway at Village Square, featuring an array of designs from 2,600 to 4,000 square feet. Interiors include a wide assortment of custom details, such as gleaming hardwoods in first floor living areas, custom millwork in the form of wainscoting, chair rail, and extensive trim throughout the house, coffered and trey ceilings in specified rooms, large designer kitchens with upgraded appliances, luxury master suites, and much, much more. Every home includes a welcoming front porch, and the great majority of our 2-car garages are alley-fed. Amberly Builder Group is providing custom designs for a variety of lifestyles to make each home unique to its owner. It’s exciting for everyone involved.”

Dustin and Katherine Alipour were the fifth home owners in Village Square when they moved into the neighborhood in 2007. In less than four years, they’ve added three children to the family and they now need more space. “Because we like Amberly so much, we’re working with Evelyn to build a larger home in Village Square,” says Dustin. “We love the pool, the amenities, and the many friends we’ve made here. We also love the location and how close we are to the places we like to go. Village Square has been an ideal neighborhood for us, and we plan on living here for many years to come.”

As Rick and Dustin mentioned, Amberly is indeed an amenity-rich community. In addition to 276 acres of common areas, a picturesque 19 acre lake, and five miles of walking trails within the neighborhood, Amberly features a multi-use Residents’ Club adjacent to Village Square. Selected from a host of entries across the country for the 2011 Best Community Club by the U.S. Commerce Association, the Residents’ Club includes a Jr. Olympic sized pool; a tremendous family fun pool with a tower and slide, center island, and adjoining wading area; outdoor decks and patios; poolside wireless internet access; a fitness center, an aerobics center, and locker rooms; a full court gymnasium; a sand volleyball court; outdoor recreational space with soccer nets; social and teen lounges; a children’s discovery center and playground; a catering kitchen; indoor and outdoor event space; daily programs; and special events. Opportunities for interaction, fitness, and even quiet reflection are available for every age and stage of life of Amberly residents.

“I’m working with clients now on a presale at Village Square at Amberly,” says Patti Crane, owner of Cary-based Crane Realty. “They were drawn to the neighborhood due to the architectural designs, low maintenance lawns, the fantastic amenity package, and the location which has easy access to Raleigh, Durham and RTP. They were also impressed with the friendliness of the current homeowners who love living in this neighborhood. I was familiar with the Amberly Builder Group and found the builders we spoke with to be very customer service oriented. We toured completed homes and found both the highly amenitized interiors and charming front porch exteriors to have the Southern charm and features desired by buyers looking for custom construction. My clients have been very pleased to date with their home building process. Village Square at Amberly provides a wonderful opportunity and a huge variety of custom floor plans for buyers in an outstanding neighborhood.”

From incredible amenities and a convenient location to spectacular custom built homes with low maintenance exteriors, Village Square at Amberly is all about living an exuberant life in a beautiful environment. Residents can bask in numerous activities without ever leaving the neighborhood… And when they do want to venture out, they’re within minutes of literally everything. “We invite you back to Village Square,” says Evelyn.
