The Detroit Journal to Premier It's First Episode on Wednesday at Signal-Return

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 20, 2012 - The Detroit Journal (http://www.thedetroitjournal.com) is a brand new web-based short film series featuring true stories about real people in Detroit. After releasing the well received "What Do You Want For Christmas, Detroit?" short film, and accumulating over 7,000 views in less than a month, The Detroit Journal quickly spread across the Internet with the general response being "more please". On Wednesday, January 25th at 7 PM, The Detroit Journal  will be taking part in a double feature event, premiering it's first official episode, "William Foster is a Good Man" alongside 4exit4 Productions (http://www.facebook.com/pages/4exit4-Productions/15469872...) who are also premiering their latest creation "9 Businesses". The event will take place at the freshly opened Signal-Return in Detroit's historic Eastern Market and will feature music by Oak Bones.

The Detroit Journal's pilot episode is a short film about Detroit native William Foster who, after a lifetime of desperation and addiction,  shares his story with The Detroit Journal on film. Years of homelessness, drugs, and eventual incarceration led him on a path darker than many could survive, but William found the light.
"William Foster is a Good Man" is his story. A Detroit story.

4exit4 Productions, whose "People Mover" film was viewed over 25,000 times will be showcasing their latest creation, "9 Businesses".  A short film in which 4exit4 beautifully and creatively highlights nine businesses that are changing the conversation of the community.
