Follow on Google News | People with Disabilities Get Chance to Play Ice HockeyThe Florida Sled Hockey Association will host a free sled hockey clinic at the Fort Myers Skatium on January 28. Sled hockey is an adaptive version of ice hockey designed for people with disabilities, in particular lower body disabilities.
By: Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida People of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend the free Saturday clinic. Sled hockey players and coaches from around the state will be on hand to explain the sport, demonstrate skills, and facilitate on-ice lessons and scrimmages.
