Free Kiddie Algebra Workshop for Gifted Students!

Jan. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- "Kiddie Algebra" is what Prodigy Mom Michelle Brown-Stafford is calling the content that will be taught to young gifted students during the free “Budding Mathematicians” gathering Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the East Lake YMCA in Atlanta, Georgia from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Inspired by her own success and the teaching approach of Stanford University’s Gifted Program (EPGY), Michelle and son, college whiz Stephen Stafford will introduce Algebraic concepts to students in grade-levels third through fifth!  

Michelle Brown-Stafford, who homeschooled her son into Morehouse College as early as 11 years of age as a mathematics prodigy, wants to expose the gifted young minds in metro Atlanta to the same material and techniques used to usher her children into an early college experience but at NO COST.  

“It’s likely that these students may not have access to this caliber of material anywhere else so we'll give them the opportunity to stretch their skills," asserts Michelle.  "Students will be able to prove for themselves what they are capable of learning and be on par with the academic powerhouses who are exposed to the same material at the same age."

This free workshop is a mathematics gathering for students in need of stimulation and acceleration.  Standardized test scores are not a requirement, just a love of the subject.

Light refreshments will be served and it is limited to the first 20 students!   Students will also be given a certificate upon completion.
