Big Daddy Cool & The Swing Kittens re-create the classic floor shows of the 20s - 40s, fused with vaudeville and circus arts! The troupe is based at Boheme Collectif in East Nashville, and present a monthly revue/workshop in that space. The troupe also travels to and performs for/at theaters, dinner theaters, corporate events, fairs, festivals, cons - everything from black tie affairs to county fairs.
Pay for performances varies.
Auditions will be held Jan 19th at at 4 PM at Boheme Collectif located at 919 Gallatin Rd., Nashville, TN 37206.
Singers please bring sheet music and/or CD accompianment. We plan to have an accompianist there, but please be prepared with a second piece on CD. You will be asked to learn a brief dance combination.
Dancers - Please prepare up to 90 seconds of solo dance that showcases your talent. Please be prepared to learn a brief combination.
Variety Artists - Please plan to perform up to 90 seconds of your primary skill. You will be asked to learn a brief dance combination, so bring clothing appropriate for dance. We do have beams to support rigging for aerial acts.
