Alistair Jones Joins Schaeffer Collins as Chief Legal Officer

Jan. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Schaeffer Collins have announced that Alistair Jones, 49, has joined their Firm as Chief Legal Officer. Mr. Jones will report to CEO George Schaeffer and will be based primarily in New York. He will also join the Firm's Operating and Management Committees.

Mr. Schaeffer commented, "Alistair has been a respected advisor to many boards and senior management teams on critical issues, particularly in financial services, for over 25 years. We look forward to benefiting from Alistair’s advice and wisdom, and we are very pleased he is joining our senior management team.  

Mr. Jones, incoming Chief Legal Officer, said, "I am very excited to be joining a firm with the history and stature of Schaeffer Collins, and to become part of the experienced and talented senior management team that George (Schaeffer) has assembled. As previously announced, Mr. Brian Simpson, the firm's former Chief Legal Officer, will remain based in New York as part of the re-structure and will continue to focus on the firm’s legislation. His responsibilities as a board member of Schaeffer Collins’ European subsidiary will remain and he will continue to interface with their major global regulators and key international clients.
