6 yr-old actor Anthony M. Hobbs costars in DreamWorks’ ‘How To Train Your Dragon' Documentary

PRLog - Jan. 18, 2012 - LOS ANGELES -- Baltimore actor/model Anthony Michael Hobbs will co-star in the DreamWorks’ documentary “How To Train Your Dragon: Dragons and Dinosaurs” soon to tour the world starting at the Australian Arenas in March, 2012. The young actor also begins shooting for the popular on-line kids show “SkWids.”

The DreamWorks "How To Train Your Dragon: Dragons and Dinosaurs" documentary explores the history and mythology of dragons and how that history relates to dinosaurs. The documentary will be released and shown during the DreamWorks "How To Train Your Dragon Live” arena show (http://dreamworksdragonslive.com/) scheduled to begin its world tour March, 2012 beginning in Australia.

“How To Train Your Dragon: Dragons and Dinosaurs” is also anticipated to air on PBS and other science/history channels, and will possibly appear on a DreamWorks "How To Train Your Dragon" DVD set. Anthony Michael stars in the documentary as an inquisitive kid assisting the paleontologists and host in connecting the relationship between dinosaurs and dragons.

The “SkWids” kids’ on-line Internet show will start filming the last week of January, 2012. The video-tapped show (www.SkWids.com) is an on-line version of such shows as “Sesame Street.” Produced by Southwestern Advantage, “SkWids," is a program designed to entertain and educate children (ages 6 – 10). On the show kids learn to read, math, science, history and more. The content is based on the Southwestern books. Hobbs can also be seen in the national classroom program called KinderRhyme. KinderRhyme is a program of Success For All Foundation (SFAF), which appears in over 2600 preschool, elementary, middle and high school programs.  

Anthony Michael Hobbs, an award winning actor at 6, can also be seen on two PBS Kids Sprout Network segments (“Claritin Kids Allergy Medicine,” “Good Night Show: Star”); the voice of an instructional video for advertising firm TBWA World Wide - the largest advertising holding company in the world; in the film Waiting for Godot; in an industrial commercial for the U.S. National Parks Services; a Baltimore County Recycling commercial; a Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger commercial, and Hobbs currently appears in USDA’s Healthy Kids 2011 print campaign.

His outstanding achievements garnered an appearance on ABC’s WMAR TV’s Good Morning Maryland Show and five 2011 Global Stars Network Awards.
