Jan. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- BALTIMORE, MARYLAND—Chesapeake Systems, a leading video systems solutions provider serving broadcast and post-production clients throughout the eastern United States, announced that the company is adding AV design and broadcast integration services to its professional video lineup.

For this leader in solving digital video workflow challenges, the extension of its business into content capture and dissemination through audio-visual channels, video teleconferencing, webcasting and digital signage is a natural progression.

The company now offers design and installation services for AV presentation systems in conference rooms and multimedia venues of every size and configuration, including the networking of these facilities, for recording, editing and distribution of content in real time and on demand.

“Content creation, acquisition and delivery are key parts of any digital workflow,” said Nick Gold, Senior Account Executive for Chesapeake’s Professional Services Division, “and these are areas where organizations large and small can realize huge return on their technology investments.”

As the cost of recording and editing equipment has fallen, the integration of AV and broadcast has moved onto the radar of many of Chesapeake Systems’ clients.  Company President Mark Dent noted that, “AV is something we understand and know how to implement, but it doesn’t have to get complicated: we can deliver at whatever level the client wants or needs—whether that’s up-fitting a conference room or equipping an entire facility.”

Mike McIntyre will lead this AV/Broadcast initiative for Chesapeake Systems.  He brings more than 30 years of experience with design and integration, including hundreds of installations for state and local government as well as corporate and association applications.  McIntyre plans to leverage Chesapeake’s expertise in digital video workflow to serve educational clients, broadcasters, healthcare providers and house-of-worship video systems.  “We believe in the value of original content,” McIntyre says, “and we can improve any organization’s ability to spread the word—within their own operations or outbound to clients, patrons or prospects, wherever they may be.”
