Jan. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Internationally recognized renaissance man, Marshall Barnes  is preparing to release more than one series of limited edition art pieces created from a variety of technologies and technical processes, including his P.TVsynth(™) or Programable Television Synthesizer(™). The art work will include large pieces as well as small, and range from $100 to as high as $10,000. They will include impressionistic cell phone photography, stills from the surrealistic rock videos he was known for creating in the 80s and early 90s and the first works released from his P.TVsynth(™) or Programable Television Synthesizer(™). Soon he will launch a new series combining the capabilities o the P.TVsynth(™) with his STDTS(™) the first functioning prototype for warp drive. The warp drive prototype produces an electromagnetic signal which can be used as an external input into the P.TVsynth(™) which it can then use to create images or expand the possibilities with images that are also used as input sources.

The art that the P.TVsynth(™) is capable of is endless, and examples of what it looks like and how it would appear in galleries and lobbies, is evident with simulations that Marshall has on display at his profile page on Artslant.com http://www.artslant.com/global/artists/show/255246-marsha... . Marshall plans on selling only one large framed version of each piece and only 10 signed and numbered prints. He will also custom size the pieces he sells to fit the customer's request for the large size pieces. Large size is bigger than 13x19 inches, on average, unless larger by special request. The average large size is 5'X10', not including the frame.

The pieces created with the STDTS warp drive prototype are expected to appreciate in value once the October worldwide broadcast of his technology is aired, as there will be no more pieces made and they will be the first and only pieces created using this advanced history technology that will open the doors for greater space exploration.

Marshall, who has an over 30 year career in the arts and sciences http://informalscience.org/member/show/8498, has created an underground reputation as an art innovator, originally in video art with his creation of The Last Communication in 1980, which was billed as a video space rock symphony and the first ever rock video album produced and directed entirely by a musician.  Later, in the mid 2000s, he created art with combinations of stills from his rock videos, sometimes featuring stars like Pete Way from the British rock band, UFO, and computer graphics and photographic images. He then accentuated these pieces and those of fellow artists during exhibitions, by allowing art lovers to view the works through special glasses he created that he called HyperSpeks(™) that made any color art look more real than simply two dimensional. His work with his P.TVsynth(™) invention, is the accomplishment of turning a passive device into an active tool for creative expression, instead of using the TV to view creative expression. The result is a connection between the mind of the artist and the electromagnetic nature of the universe.

Marshall's intention is to use the P.TVsynth(™) and his other technologies, to create investable art that will appreciate in value and expand the minds of viewers around the world. The art will be available to galleries, collectors and investing from around the world through contacts to be announced.
