Republicans took second place while Independants came in third. The study is the result of an ongoing caption contest at http://HumorQ.com where members both judge and submit cartoon captions using a method host Bob DiPasquale calls crowdsifting. Bob explains "Members always need to do some voting before they can submit their caption. Every caption gets distributed and reviewed frequently, randomly, anonymously, and equally."
