FEELINGS 2012: A Talent Hunt In Music And Dance For Youth Within The UAE

Jan. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- FEELINGS 2012 intends to be the single finest platform for talent hunt in music and dance for youth, tied in beautifully with social responsibility!
To be held in DUCTAC on the 18th February, 2012, the event will help raise funds for the Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre (http://www.rashidc.ae/index.php?lang=en).

Youth from 15 institutions get to exhibit their talent in dance and music in slots of about 5 to 8 minutes each. 15 caring business house get to invest in the future by sponsoring a group each. All proceeds from this corporate social endeavor go to fund the local charity.
The stage is set for youth to inspire and get inspired by their peers and professionals. Youth get an opportunity to connect with singer, composer Gayathri (Fridge Dubai) who was born and raised in Dubai. Hareth & Hassan from the Canadian University of Dubai will provide musical inspiration through an Arabic- English composition. Fans of western classical music can look forward to a special rendition by the Emirates Youth Symphonic orchestra. Beit Al Oud, part of Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage take stage. Leading choreographers such as Pali Chandra (Gurukul) and George Quicen (Serbian Music) also add colour and flavour to the event. All this action would naturally ignite the creative spark in the students of the Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre. They will delight the audience with a foot thumping Emirati dance!

An event magazine would provide a description of each of the 15 performances including pictures and names of participants with space for advertising. H.H Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the chairman of the charity will be the honourable chief guest.

Finally, FEELINGS will be a yearly event that youth can look forward to year after year. All stake holders i.e., the youth, connoisseurs of music and dance and institutions that foster such talent, business houses as well as the local chairty benefit, while genuine talent gets noticed by TV, press, peers and the media!
