They will explain research that shows seniors often trade-off speed for accuracy in decision-making and other critical responses. Dr. Ratcliff earned a PhD at University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. McKoon is a graduate of University of Colorado. Both previously taught at Dartmouth, Yale, and Northwestern Universities and are recipients of numerous awards for research. Dana Skiljan is a partner in Liberty Tax in the Savannah, Ga area. Skiljan will give advice on the deductibility of mileage used for charitable volunteering and on the rules regarding taxability of Social Security. Dr. Felicia Carr, MD is a family practitioner who will speak about osteoporosis, which affects 10 million adults and another 18 million suffer from low bone mass.
