Intellinet Network Solutions Receives Nomination for EMEA Home Networking Vendor of the Year

Jan. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Tampa, FL – The EMEA Channel Academy (ECA) – an organization representing distribution executives in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region – on Friday announced its nominees for Vendor of the Year in 12 consumer electronics (CE) and information technology (IT) categories. And, for the second year in a row, the ECA named Intellinet Network Solutions – an international provider of IP-based products for the home and small/medium-sized business market – as a nominee for Home Networking Vendor of the Year. EMEA Vendor of the Year award winners will be announced February 9 in conjunction with DISTREE EMEA in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Nominees for Vendor of the Year were selected via a survey of leading distributors across the EMEA region based on several factors, including channel strategy, partner engagement, product line evolution, marketing efforts and overall performance in 2011. The 12 categories that vendors were nominated in are: Storage, Software, Accessories, Audio, Home Networking, Components, Gaming, Imaging, Printing, Monitors/TVs, Mobile Devices and Netbook/Notebook/Desktop. Winners in each category will be selected by live vote at the EMEA Channel Academy: 2012 Awards Gala Dinner on the third day of the DISTREE EMEA trade event.

This is the sixth time Intellinet has attended DISTREE EMEA and the second time the company has been nominated for Home Networking Vendor of the Year. DISTREE EMEA is an invitation-only trade show and sales event where the top vendors, distributors, retailers and e-tailers from more than 80 countries across the EMEA region take part in pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings and networking events aimed at building relationships and finalizing deals. Held at the exclusive Fairmont Monte Carlo hotel in the small Mediterranean country of Monaco, the event will run from February 7 through February 10. The EMEA Channel Academy 2012 Awards Gala Dinner will take place on the evening of February 9 at the luxurious Salle des Etoiles.
