The list is composed of only the top free to play MMO games. Pay to play subscription or membership games have not been included since the website specializes in f2p titles only.
"Nowadays there are so many good MMORPGs that you can spend weeks and weeks just looking that perfect game. We wrote this list so that people can get some help finding the best MMO for them," said Darius Johnson, editor-in-charge of MMO Worlds.
Johnson went on to say that this list is not yet complete since they do expect to add more titles as time goes by because many MMORPGs are scheduled to be released later in the year such as ArcheAge, Blade and Soul, Wizardy Online, the Neverwinter MMO, and many more.
