Serving in the newly-created position of Director of Chesapeake Systems' Home and Office Division, Watkins oversees the company’s Mac-related consultation, repair and retail services for businesses and consumers. He has also created and opened the company’s first retail center in its new headquarters in the former Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, a City landmark. Watkins comes to Chesapeake with 20 years of expertise in providing IT consultation, network design, assembly and support for a wide range of industries. Former positions include Mid-Atlantic Field Service Representative for Hospitality Systems and Lead Mac Specialist for Goucher College's IT Department. He also held service manager positions at several regional Mac companies. Watkins, a resident of New Freedom, Pennsylvania, studied computer science at the University of Maryland and received advanced systems training at the Apple campus in Cupertino, California.
As an Account Manager, McIntyre operates Chesapeake Systems' new Audio/Visual Division, which offers design and installation services for conference rooms, TV studios, digital signage, and other media-related projects. McIntyre brings more than 30 years of video, broadcast, and audio-visual sales and management experience to the company. Most recently he served as Account Manager for Diversified Systems, a nationwide systems engineering and integration firm focused on television, video production, post-production, and audio-visual technologies. A resident of Carney, Maryland, McIntyre received a B.S. in Mass Communications from Towson University.
In his new position, Ryan heads Chesapeake System’s regional and national marketing efforts and assists with inside sales. He is also responsible for the company’s expanding web presence and growing social media efforts. Most recently, Ryan worked for Rockville’s Video Labs, where he served as an account manager and head of the company's marketing team. Prior to that, he was VP/General Manager at GVI, a full-service video production provider, in Washington, DC. Also an independent producer and director, he began his career working for public television on award-winning series such as Austin City Limits. Ryan, a resident of Ellicott City, Maryland, received a B.A. from the College of William and Mary and an M.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.
