Jan. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- The Gelett Burgess Center has announced a call for entries to the 2012 Gelett Burgess Children’s Book Award. The annual award honors the best in family-friendly children’s books published the previous year.

Each year the Center produces a comprehensive list of what our advisory council considers the most unique children’s books on the market. With over 40 classifications, books are selected in 4 distinct groups: Lifestyle, Arts and Letters, Society and Culture, and Education. This list is promoted throughout the year as publishers and authors participate in activities, providing articles for the Center website and newsletter, and by providing lessons and activity content based on the winning books.

Detailed information about the award and submission guidelines can be found at www.GelettBurgessCenter.org.
