Sending SMS messages through the XTRF™ system

Jan. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Text message sending is based on integration with the international SMS gateway. SMS messages are sent directly from the XTRF™ system. Every sent message is automatically saved in the XTRF™ database and assigned to the history of contact with the given contractor.

Due to the new function, a system user can significantly speed up communication with customers and subcontractors: at any time, the system user is able to inform a customer about a ready order, immediately contact a supplier on the availability and timing of a project fulfilment, or send a message to an out-of-office employee. Text messages can be sent individually or in parallel with e-mail messages. SMS messages are the perfect solution in situations when a rapid dissemination of information is essential. Text messages are cheaper and less time consuming than a phone call.

XTRF™ is a system designed for translation agencies and corporate translation departments, which supports the project management and office management processes. XTRF™ also facilitates both internal and external company communication via, among others, the CRM module available in XTRF™, which enables single and mass e-mail dispatch and fully supports the customer relationship management. XTRF™ is also enriched with a partner’s zone for customers and suppliers, enabling, inter alia, file and instruction transfer directly through the system, the submission of comments during project realisation, and control of the project fulfilment phase.
