PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 16, 2012 - With OKC being named the most economically stable city in the nation, homes are selling well.For example, in the Remington Addition, 18 homes sold in 2011.  The price per square foot ranged from $44.35 per square foot to $112.63 per square foot with the average being $79.34.  Sized ranged from 2705 square feet to 5540 square feet with the average size being 3761 square feet.  Average days on the market was 80; the range was from 3 to 209 days.

The school district for Remington Addition is Deer Creek.  In 2012-2013, the Deer Creek School District grades will be reconfigured.  Elementary Schools will be comprised of Pre-Kindergarten - 4th Grade students.  Deer Creek will have a 5th/6th Grade Center, a Middle School with 7th & 8th grade students, a Freshman Academy, and a High School with 10th - 12th grade students.  

The Remington neighborhood is neighborhood with executive homes and an active homeowner's association.  The newsletter comes out once each month to keep neighbors informed about what is happening.


Currently there are several new constructions projects underway and when completed will include additions to Deer Creek High School, a Freshman Academy, new Middle School, new Stadium, new Athletic Facilities, new Fine Arts Center, new Operations Building, and additions to the Administration Building.


Deer Creek had  3775 students at the close of the 2010-2011 school year and anticipates more than 4000 students for 2011-2012.
