Follow on Google News | Focus on Customer Experience Means Contact Centre Salaries Remain Strong in RecessionThe 2012 Salary Survey by the leading Call & Contact Centre Management recruitment agency, Cactus Search, has shown growth in the salaries of Management & Specialist staff in the sector to be above the national average.
By: Katie Lowe With an average growth of around 6.72%, the industry has remained strong despite a difficult time for the economy as a whole. The strongest growth in salaries was found in the financial services, leisure, online and utilities sectors, all of which saw growth of over 7%. The survey is the second edition by Cactus Search, the UK leaders in call and contact centre management recruitment and selection. The company revealed that the survey was downloaded over 1,200 times on its publication on Thursday 12th January. Guy Masters, Director at Cactus Search, said of the survey that ‘what we’re seeing is stability in the sector, with pockets of growth regionally, and in different industries.
