Update: Opulent Public Relations & Event Management Hosts M.I.A.

Jan. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Dallas, Texas(January 15, 2012)-Jump starting the first quarter of 2012 by creating a platform for professionals in the music industry to network, grow, learn and expand their brand, Opulent Public Relations & Event Management (Opulent PREM) is hosting the M.I.A. Music Industry Academy in Dallas, Texas.  Music industry hopefuls and professionals will meet at the Wyndham Dallas Love Field February 24-26, 2012.  The original date of January 20-22, 2012 was rescheduled due to overwhelming interest of attendees and investors wanting to play a part in this inaugural event.

Opulent Public Relations & Event Management is an emerging boutique firm catering to the entertainment, lifestyle and non-profit sectors.  We offer services in public relations, promotions, event management, social media management and artist management.
Opulent PREM’s M.I.A. Music Industry Academy is slated to be a biannual meeting of the industry’s leaders, professionals and hopefuls from around the country.  During the meeting, attendees will gain invaluable information from relevant industry professionals in an effort to educate those aspiring to be in the industry and those who are in the industry but have realized little results when it comes to the Business of Music.  Artists, managers, DJs, publicists, bloggers, promoters, distributors, attorneys and label execs in various facets will share, hear, learn and apply information and build relationships.

Opulent PREM will also host “Poetic Music & Lyrics” Artist Showcase.  Artist will have the opportunity to perform Live in front of some of the industry’s most influential.  It will take place Friday, February 24, 2012. Doors open at 7p.m., show at 8:00 p.m.  

The academy will close out on Saturday, February 25, 2012 with “An Evening to Remember” with keynote address by Mr. Kevin Shine.  Mr. Shine is a Grammy nominated A&R consultant and CEO of The F.I.R.M. based in Atlanta, Ga.
