PRO TECHnology to show latest Tech in Open-Standard Storage & digital Archiving at INTERSEC 201

Jan. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Dubai, On January 15-17, 2012 PRO TECHnology, the regional market leader in Digital Storage and AV solutions, today announced its plans to demonstrate live on its stand at intersec 2012 its recently developed Open-Standard storage and Digital Archiving integrated solutions. The company will use its first ever participation at Intersec 2012, the largest and most comprehensive exhibition and conference for security and safety in the Middle East which will be held over 3 days in Dubai from January 15-17, 2012, to show and educate visitors and participants on how to adopt new Open-Standard systems to store and archive heavy files generated from their digital surveillance systems.


Shaban Al Ahmad, Technical Director and Partner at PRO TECHnology confirmed that visitors to our stand (Hall 5, Stand 5-133C) in Dubai World Trade Centre will have the opportunity to see several demonstrations on our well selected products and solutions that serve the application of digital storage and digital archiving systems; Our main target in the show will be to educate our clients and visitors on the importance of adopting an open-standard solutions in storage and digital archiving applications because this will save them great in terms of investment and space and will also offer them better flexibility in moving from vendor to others or from product to another product based on what they will be offered best in the future.

Mr. Al Ahmad stated that we will be there along with our technology partners to give our visitors in depth information and insight into the latest technologies in video surveillance storage devices ranging from disks to tapes and also the latest in movable storage systems.
One of the highlights of the show will be the launch of the latest Storage system from Nexsan, USA which hosts 180TB in 4U box. A live demonstration will be shown on the integration of this Nexsan Box with the high end Tape Library form Qualstar which can host up to 128 drives and more than 9600 LTO tapes which is capable of storing heavy video files that are generated from digital surveillance systems. Both these systems of Nexsan & Qulastar will be managed smart management software applications from Qstar, Symantec & Datacore to enable the end user to manage his storage system in a professional and optimized manner.
