By: Krol Media Hair Peace Charities is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005 by Bonny Diver, a local radio personality and a breast cancer survivor. Its mission is to support local women fighting cancer by providing them with the $150 that one wig costs. Hair Peace also offers support through a prayer network and a support circle focusing on healthy options in the long term life battle over cancer. "Recipe for Hope promises to be a fun and meaningful evening for all of our guests," says Diver. "As a cancer survivor myself, I encourage anyone who has a soft spot in their hearts for women who have undergone cancer treatment to come out and support this premier event."
