Median Home Prices and Home Sales Decline in Andover, MA in 2011

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 20, 2012 - The median price and sales of homes in Andover, Massachusetts decreased in 2011, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, the local multiple listing service.

Single-family home sales in Andover, MA declined 2.5 percent in 2011, a difference of seven sales compared to 2010.  Single-family homes prices dipped 1.2 percent in 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $6,500.  

In 2011, the median price of condominiums decreased 0.8 percent, or $2,000 compared to 2010.  Condo sales fell 14.1 percent in 2011, a difference of nine sales.

The median price of multi-family homes dropped 6.3 percent in 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $22,000.  Multi-family home sales in Andover, MA fell 16.7 percent in 2011 compared to 2010, a difference of only one sale.
