Canton, MA Single-family Home Prices, Sales Decline in 2011

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 10, 2012 - The median price and sales of single-family homes in Canton, Massachusetts decreased slightly in 2011, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

Single-family homes prices fell 1.7 percent in 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $7,500.  Single-family home sales in Canton, MA fell 8.6 percent in 2011, a difference of 12 sales compared to 2010.  

In 2011, the median price of condominiums increased 7.7 percent, or $20,300 compared to 2010.  Higher prices resulted in fewer condo sales. Condo sales dropped 18.9 percent in 2011, a difference of 15 sales.

Multi-family homes prices increased 4 percent in 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $14,950.  Multi-family home sales in Canton, MA were flat in 2011 compared to 2010, with three sales each year.
