Chilean President’s Energy Initiatives Supported At Energy Conference And Exhibition

Jan. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- 13 January 2012—SANTIAGO, CHILE—President Sebastián Piñera’s speech 12 January at Espacio Riesco to more than 700 executives involved in the region’s energy challenge cited eight pillars upon which to build Chile’s energy future over the next 20 years.

Businesses in Chile and around the world can take quick and effective hold of the president’s vision at the upcoming IFT ENERGY event, Latin America’s International Conference and Exhibition for Electrical Energy Solutions.  This global trade showcase is scheduled for 9-11 May 2012 in Santiago.

IFT, or “The International Fair of Technologies,” is taking place under the patronage of the Chilean Ministry of Energy, along with more than 25 other influential private and public trade and energy agencies. It is the stage where the world’s best technologies, equipment, services and ideas are set to be presented, serving the region’s growing electrical power requirements.

Exhibit displays, conferences and workshops presented by leading experts from throughout the world will deliver solutions to those areas addressed by the president including expansion of the renewable sector, energy efficiency, modernization of existing thermoelectric facilities, as well as critical regional energy integration.
