Worldwide Safari Allows Live Animals to Enrich DFW Students' Education

New Program To Let Animals Educate Dallas Fort Worth Area Students

Jan. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Cathy’s Critters, a leading provider of animal entertainment services, announced today the release of a new program called “Worldwide Safari.” In keeping with the company’s theme of “Explore Your World”, the new program will bring animals hailing from around the world to elementary schools, middle schools, churches, libraries, preschools, or other educational services in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Students will learn about animal habitats, defenses, diets, and relation to the ecosystem in which they live.

“I have been an animal lover all my life, and my passion is to help kids discover that same passion in themselves”, says Cathy Smith, founder and owner of Cathy’s Critters. “Our goal is to enrich the educational experience of kids from ages 3-10, while helping educators prepare their students for higher-level natural science curricula including TEKS-specific vocabulary, concepts, and science facts,” Smith said.

“We strive to make the world a better place by encouraging fun, healthy, and educational
interactions between kids and animals," she continued.
