95.5 Hallelujah FM’s on-air personality Nikki Dulaney is head of the radio station’s book club. Each month, she selects a book by a seasoned or up and coming author to share with her readers. “Our choice for January 2012 is Someday. Usually, during January and February we will choose a new novel about love. We simply feel it is the season for love, and we feel sure this is one of the hottest new books available. Many of our listeners are females and are able to relate to the lead character, Tee, in her search for her prince charming. I can't wait to read her next book, Someday, Too. We love inspirational romance,” said Nikki. 95.5 Hallelujah FM will promote Someday throughout the month of January and two lucky listeners will have the opportunity to win an autographed copy.
The budding author is grateful for this honor. “This is a great way to start the year! Becoming an author is a dream come true for me and being recognized for my efforts by such a wonderful gospel station is truly an honor. I am very blessed! I feel my job is to inspire and allow my readers an exciting escape from their everyday lives, while reminding them of the goodness of God. I hope the public will support Someday and allow themselves that experience. I am looking forward to spending time with the people of Jackson this month,” said Jae.
Jae’s debut novel, Someday, has received rave reviews from readers and is a favorite among regional book clubs. Someday focuses on the trials and tribulations of modern dating among Christian women. As a child, Tina “Tee” Long dreamed of having it all and, as one of Memphis’ most sought after event planners, she appears to have achieved it. Even though creating breathtaking events and rubbing elbows with the social elite seems fulfilling, there’s one thing missing from her fairy tale life—her prince charming. After a string of failed, faith-challenging relationships, this woman of God refuses to give up on meeting the man of her dreams. Tee knows in her heart that God will answer her prayers--SOMEDAY. Until then, she tries to remain prayerful and content by occupying her time with work, her sister’s drama-filled marriage, counseling wayward youth and her hilarious girlfriends. When Tee is introduced to an incredibly handsome, retired NFL player named Michael Stokes, it seems that someday has finally arrived. There's one problem. He’s been marked for death. The story is one that all members of the Christian community can enjoy. The sequel, Someday, Too will be released later this month.
