"This is a rare opportunity to meet original, documented Tuskegee Airmen, support a film that is long overdue and inspire our youth," said Patt Terrelongue, president of the Tri-State Tuskegee Airmen Chapter.
Donations will benefit the chapter's educational programs and youth scholarships. (Children up to 12 years old, admitted to screening free.)
The film is set to open nationwide on January 20. There have been over 27 screenings held in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
NYC's recent star-studded premiere at the famed Ziegfield Theater, George Lucas' recent appearance on the Daily Show, upcoming screenings in Ohio, New Jersey, Wash. DC, and Connecticut, had been coordinated by 'Red Tails' teams and local chapters. They have been crisscrossing the country honoring our nation's DOTAS - Designated Original Tuskegee Airmen and spreading the news about this amazing film that took over 23years to produce.
The next several days are crucial to get out the word about 'Red Tails' that promises to inspire, amaze, educate and entertain.
