The course provided education on safety, flight following, map skills, navigation terms, medical terminology, radio communications and aviation weather. Completion of the course included a national exam. All participants were awarded a NAACS wing pin and a certificate denoting their four-year flight coordinator designation.
Through the “One Call Commitment” program, an Elite Medical Transport Communication Specialist coordinates the logistics of the transport, assuring prompt response to medical emergencies. “Working in partnership with emergency responders, referring hospitals and physicians, Communication Specialists provide critical information to our flight and ground teams and are truly an invaluable link in patient care” said Rob Campion, VP of Air Medical Operations.
Elite Medical Transport extends its congratulations to the communications specialists who are now Certified Flight Coordinators (CFC) and is proud to highlight that 100% of its Communication Specialists have successfully completed this industry leading training.
