Jan. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Holiday bookings for 2012 are up 150% week on week, according to http://www.lowcostholidays.com, one of the top 10 UK travel websites, with holiday searches on their website up 56% compared to last week.

“The first full week back at work after the Xmas break is traditionally one of the busiest for holiday bookings and this year is proving no different.” commented Matt Hall, Deputy MD at lowcostholidays.com.  “We’ve got some amazing early booking discounts as well as really low deposits which have driven more customers to take advantage of these prices and book their holidays now.  For selected summer bookings in the school holiday period, balances don’t need to be paid until four weeks prior to departure,” added Hall.

With the Euro at a 15 month low, customers are booking holidays in Ibiza, Majorca, the Canaries, Costa Blanca and Costa Del Sol where they will get more for their money this year.  Outside the Eurozone, holiday bookings to Egypt, Florida and Mexico have also increased significantly.

All-inclusive holidays continue to be a really popular option with searches up 75% year on year as customers look to book holidays without additional costs.

The latest prices from lowcostholidays.com show a 7 night holiday in Majorca at the 3 star Holiday Centre Apartment on a self-catering basis from just £99 per person in May including flights.  Call  0800 1116271 or www.lowcostholidays.com
