The Hay-Adams Announces New Director of Group Sales

Jan. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Washington, D.C. — The Hay-Adams, one of the leading luxury hotels in the world, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dwayne Williams as Director of Group Sales.

Williams, who was born in Chicago and raised in Bowling Green, Ohio, received a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Bowling Green State University. After completing a six-month internship with The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas in 2000, he continued his career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and opened the first Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands in Aspen, Colorado in February 2001 as Assistant Front of House Manager. He transferred to Avon, Colorado in November 2002 to open The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch as Guest Relations Manager. Two years later, he was promoted to Director of Penthouse Residences at the Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch to oversee the residential operation of the 23 private penthouse units above the hotel. In the spring of 2009, Williams moved to Washington, D.C. to work at the Willard InterContinental Hotel as Assistant Front Office Manager. In March 2010, he moved to the Park Hyatt Washington as Group Sales Manager.
