Fresh Off European Tour, Singer Dan Coyle Returns to NYC

Jan. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Acclaimed singer songwriter Dan Coyle returns to NYC for two shows celebrating his return from his yearlong European tour. Coyle will play Two Boots Brooklyn on January 13th, then Fat Baby in Manhattan on February 26th. These will be Coyle’s first shows since returning from the incredibly successful tour in 2011. Two Boots is offering free admission to his 9 p.m. show. The Fat Baby show begins at 7:30 p.m. and is $5 in advance or $10 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased from Coyle’s tour page, http://dancoyle.com/8.

"It was a long, but wonderful year in Europe. Now I’m happy to be back in my adopted home town and ready to start the 2012 U.S. tour," the New York City-based Coyle said. "I hope everyone will come out and hear their favorites as well as a dozen or so new songs."

Coyle's music has been described by the Red Onion News as "...refreshingly original yet uniquely familiar. Not copyright infringement familiar – more like comfy couch familiar. Dan Coyle delivers a clean melodic sound reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkel but with a decidedly contemporary feel."  

"It's an acoustic mix of Josh Ritter, Paul Simon and Jason Mraz, with some soft and hard edges to it," Coyle said.

Coyle has released four albums to date, including "You Linger Your Little Hour And Are Gone" and "Random Thoughts and Incomplete Sentences." His latest album “From Prague To Paris,” was written during his European travels. It was recorded in Berlin and released worldwide in October, 2011. He has toured internationally since 2008, playing everything from small venues to concert halls to massive festivals.

Coyle will play several more dates February through June across the U.S. and will be heard on several national and local radio stations.
