CANIDAE Racing Trophy Truck Team Eager for 2012 Laughlin Race

Jan. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- San Luis Obispo, CA, January 10, 2011 - Armed with their custom built 800 HP 454 CI Dougan small block Chevy powerplant, the CANIDAE Racing team is ready to take on the first offroad race of the 2012 season, the 18th annual SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge race in Nevada.

With entries to date from 13 U.S. states along with Austria, Canada, Denmark, Germany and Mexico, Rounds 1 and 2 of the five-race 2012 SCORE Desert Series will be held this coming Friday through Sunday (Jan. 13-15) along the banks of the Colorado River in the Southern Nevada resort destination of Laughlin.

For the first time in the history of the event, each day of the two-day Laughlin gathering (Jan. 14, Jan. 15) will be separate race events for purposes of championship points, prize money and trophies.

The Laughlin event features course qualifying for the Trophy Truck class on Friday followed by two separate and independent races, the first on Saturday and the second on Sunday.  Sponsor CANIDAE Pet Foods will also be on hand with coupons and free samples for fans during contingency and safety inspections being held on Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of the Edgewater and Colorado Belle Hotels on Casino Drive in the heart of the Laughlin resort area.
