Follow on Google News | Charter Pictures Announces International Cast for New U.S. Action/Drama Cable TV SeriesOne of the most celebrated British Gangsters of modern times is being joined by Asia's hottest new action star in a new Action/Drama Series for American Cable TV.

Pictures & Entertainment Originally a trusted part of the infamous Kray mob and more recently head of the UK organization called “The Firm”, Dave Courtney has often been referred to by the British press as being “The Most Feared Man in London” and “The Yellow Pages of the Underworld”. Although once commanding a 500 man enforcement army, since “retiring” Co-Star Chris Yen, having been raised in Boston and a 1999 graduate of Boston College, has recently emerged as one of the world’s top female martial arts stars with her #1 Hong Kong Box Office hit “Black Rose”, and the recent Thomas Jane vehicle “Give 'em Hell Malone”, directed by Russell Mulcahy. Ms. Yen also happens to be the daughter of world-renowned martial artist Tai Chi Master Bow Sim Mark, the younger sister of international martial arts superstar Donnie Yen, and the winner of the first-ever International Wushu Tournament in Xian, China – and when coupled with her expertise in Krav Maga/MMA, Chris lends additional substance to the “realism” of story and atmosphere so integral to the “London Calling” project. Executive Producer Billy Clark is currently in preliminary talks with various cable networks concerning production, with an anticipated 2013 season airdate. The Series’ Pilot Episode was written by Clark and East Coast veteran screenwriter Alfred Thomas Catalfo.
