Throughout his 15-year career at USAA, Richter has had progressive leadership experience in both operations and training. He holds a BSBA from Creighton University and an MBA from Grand Canyon University. “I came to appreciate the Ballet Conservatory of South Texas through my ten-year-old daughter. She has been dancing for three years and was accepted into the Apprentice Company at BCSTX at the beginning of the season,” says Mark Richter. “I’m thrilled to be part of this wonderful organization and look forward to serving its proactive mission of developing young and aspiring dancers while advancing the art of ballet in the San Antonio community.” “Mark’s experience and background in facilitating operational procedures will play a critical role in further enabling BCSTX’s growth and development,” Richter joins the BCSTX Board of Directors alongside esteemed professionals: The Ballet Conservatory of South Texas (BCSTX) The mission of The Ballet Conservatory of South Texas (BCSTX) is to fulfill the developmental needs of serious young dancers, regardless of economic background, in a safe, nurturing and pre-professional dance company environment. BCSTX does so by raising money for scholarships, providing high quality studio education in dance and careers in dance performance and education. BCSTX is also dedicated to educating and inspiring underserved children in San Antonio through providing free tickets to the company’s performances and free lecture demonstrations in schools, social service centers and other community locations. # # # BCSTX is a pre-professional ballet Academy and Company accepting students as young as 3 years of age and offering classes to all dancers up to the age of 21.
