Charitable Proceeds from Inaugural Weekend of Exotic Luxuries Will Benefit Ronald McDonald House

Jan. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Ronald McDonald Charities of Tampa Bay is excited to announce they are the recipient of $4,180 in proceeds resulting from a silent auction that was part of the November 18-19, 2011 “Weekend of Exotic Luxuries” event co-hosted by the duPont REGISTRY™ and Innisbrook - A Salamander Golf & Spa Resort. An estimated crowd of 3,000 attended the first-ever weekend event that featured an opening gala dinner in Innisbrook’s Inverness Hall and a special duPont REGISTRY™ Cars & Coffee event showcasing more than 300 classic, luxury and exotic cars.  Innisbrook’s immaculately groomed North Course provided a backdrop as the cars lined the fairways for spectators to enjoy, including two Daytona 500 championship Richard Petty cars valued in excess of $20 million. Based on the success of this year’s event, a second “Weekend of Exotic Luxuries” is planned for 2012, with proceeds to benefit Ronald McDonald Charities of Tampa Bay.
