Surf World team rider, Roray Kam of Fort Lauderdale FL joins the Starboard SUP Team

Jan. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Roray kam is very proud to announce that he will be joining the Starboard stand up paddle board team, Starboard is one of the biggest and best stand up paddle board companies in the world. Roray is stoked to join their team. Roray is a transplanted Hawaiian championship surfer and paddler now living in Fort Lauderdale FL. His vast ocean knowledge and easy going style will be prefect fit with Starboard's incredible lineup of boards. Roray is super stoked on the variety of Boards Starboard offers. Everything from fishing models to ultralight carbon fiber surf SUP's "Starboard has it all" Roray says.

Kam has a great list of achievements in the Stand Up Paddle World, everything from SUP race wins, SUP Fishing Championships and SUP Surf Contest Wins as well. Roray is a multiple time champion of the Cocoa Beach Easter SUP surf contest that attracts competitors from all over the Country. He is also one of the few paddlers from South Florida who competed in and finished the grueling 32 mile Molokai to Oahu paddle board race in 2010, where he finished 3rd in the solo 14ft stock class.

Roray has been a Surf World Surf Shop team rider for the last 4 years where he has spread the Aloha spirit all over South Florida. Surf World is one of the biggest Starboard SUP dealers in the country. "Were stoked to see Roray with Starboard for 2012" says Surf World owner Randy Skinner. "We are looking forward to seeing Roray tearing up the lineup on the ultralight carbon Starboards this year."
