Murder Mystery Wine Dinners At City Square Cafe, Jan. 13 And Jan. 20

City Square Café in Manassas, Va. will host two murder mystery dinners. The four-course dinner will be paired with Virginia wines. The theme is set for sailing the seas. Staff to be dressed in boat cruising attire and guests are welcome to as well.
 
Jan. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- City Square Café in Old Town Manassas, Va. is hosting two murder mystery dinners at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays, Jan. 13 and Jan. 20. Cost is $64 per person (not including tax and gratuity.) The four-course dinner will be paired with wine from Three Fox Vineyards in Delaplane, Va. This year’s theme is set for sailing the seas, aboard the SS Minnow, where staff will be dressed in boat cruising attire, and guests are welcome to dress according to the themed event as well. The four-course dinner will include: conch fritters with roasted red pepper coulis, paired with Gatto Bianco (table white, non-vintage); cucumber soup, coupled with Leggero Chardonnay (2011); jerk-spice roasted  pork loin with mango salsa and curried rice pilaf paired with Volpe Sangiovese (2010); and passion fruit panna cotta, paired with Cano Pazzo Rose (non-vintage).

City Square Café provides tapas and homemade American bistro favorites with an international flair, seven days a week. Hours of operation include: Mon. through Thurs., 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (lunch and dinner,) Fri., 11 a.m.to 10 p.m. (lunch and dinner), Sat., 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and Sun., 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (breakfast and lunch).

"It’s our annual ‘whodunit” mystery dinner, this time we’re taking our guests aboard the City Square Café ‘SS Minnow, ‘so don’t forget to bring your boating attire because this year’s theme is all about  sailing the seas," said Susana Barolin, co-owner of City Square Cafe.

Established in 1996, City Square Café in Old Town Manassas, Va. was founded and is owned by Robert and Susana Barolin, immigrants from Uruguay whose cuisine is based on their Italian roots.
