Weddings from £2,012 for the 2012 Olympics at the Hatherley Manor Hotel

Jan. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- From 27 July until 12 August 2012 (Olympic Games) – or until February if you get in there quickly – the 17th century Hatherley Manor Hotel will be offering weddings starting from the special Olympic price of £2,012. Continuing the theme, three levels of wedding will be offered – Bronze, Silver and Gold – all of which include both a daytime and an evening reception for 40 and 70 guests respectively.

When it comes to organising weddings, Hatherley Manor Hotel has over 30 years’ experience and is looking forward to joining in with the Olympic excitement. The hotel is also offering couples the chance to win a wedding worth £3,000 at a Wedding Fayre on Sunday 19 February. Not only does the event give couples a chance to look around the hotel’s facilities and ask any questions they might have, but it’s also a chance to meet a number of local suppliers.

Hatherley Manor Hotel is set in 37 acres of parkland in the Cotswolds, four miles from Gloucester and six miles from Cheltenham. The hotel offers a range of function suites including the spacious Hatherley Suite (up to 250 guests), the Moat Suite (up to 150 guests) and several smaller suites. The hotel holds a civil marriage licence and ceremonies can be held in any of the suites or in its outside pavilion which is set within a picturesque walled garden.

Three different wedding packages have been put together for the occasion:

• Bronze – £2,012 per wedding
The Bronze wedding package includes a three-course sit-down wedding breakfast for 40 guests including drinks (two glasses of wine and a glass of bubbly), a finger buffet for up to 70 guests in the evening and accommodation for the bride and groom in a standard room

• Silver – £3,012 per wedding
The Silver wedding package includes the Bronze package, plus canapés with arrival drinks, still and sparkling water on the tables, drinks (three glasses of wine and a glass of bubbly), an upgraded menu and accommodation for the bride and groom in an executive room

• Gold – £4,012 per wedding
The Gold wedding package includes the Silver package, plus drinks (half a bottle of wine per person and a glass of champagne for the toast), stylish chair covers, an upgraded menu and accommodation for the bride and groom in the hotel’s bridal suite

Hatherley Manor has the following function suites available:

• Hatherley Suite (up to 250 guests) – the largest of the suites, with its own entrance, cloakrooms and bar.
• Moat Suite (up to 150 guests) – features include exposed brickwork and French doors opening on to the walled garden.
• Mulberry Suite (up to 150 guests) – a light and airy room located at the front of the hotel with fantastic views across the lawns and direct access on to a side garden.
• Dewinton Restaurant (up to 60 guests) – a contemporary-styled room with an historic oak beamed ceiling and a stone fireplace.
• Redwood Suite (up to 22 guests) – a fine Regency room with a beautiful bay window overlooking the gardens.
