No stranger to European roads and tracks, Meyer has driven in the Italian “Mille Meglia,” the French “Tour Auto,” the UK’s “Goodwood Festival of Speed” and on the Bonneville Salt Flats in the U.S.

Active in many collector car networks throughout Southern California, Meyer serves on the board of the Nethercutt Collection, the Mullin Automotive Museum, the LeMay Museum and the Petersen Automotive Museum.
He has received numerous awards for his hard work and dedication to the hobby, including the “Meguiar’s Award” for the Car Hobby’s Person of the Year, the Automotive Icon Award from the Petersen Automotive Museum and the City of Hope Car Collector of the Year.
“Highly respected in the collector car world, Bruce is a renowned automobile enthusiast with impressive vehicles in his collection ranging from Duesenbergs to Dragsters, Cobras to Corvettes and Bentleys to Bugattis,” added Spellens. “His expertise and passion for the hobby will be a wonderful addition to our 30th anniversary theme: ‘Legends of Le Mans: Racing in the ‘60s’.”
As part of his responsibilities as the Dana Point Concours Automotive Icon, Meyer will attend numerous activities throughout the two-day event. The Concours members will also present Meyer with the distinguished Automotive Icon Award during the Concours Reception, on Saturday evening, June 23.
The Dana Point Concours, host of the premier celebration of automotive heritage in Southern California, will take place at the luxurious St. Regis Monarch Beach in Dana Point, Calif. The event will feature activities for all ages, including the Private Collection Tour, Beach Cruisers Show, art exhibit and much more. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
